Kelseyville Olive Festival Contests
Poster Contest:
Open to all ages with prizes given in three categories: under 12 years of age, 12 to 18 years, & over the age of 18.
Please submit your Kelseyville Olive Festival themed poster on 8 ½ x 11 to 11 x 17 size paper with name, age, and phone number of entrant on the back to:
Main Street Gallery ~ 325 N. Main St. Lakeport
Rosa d’Oro Vineyards ~ 3915 Main St. Kelseyville
Select entries will be on display at the Main Street Gallery during February and March. To have your art included in the February display at the Main Street Gallery please submit your entry by January 27, 2012.
Final deadline is February 24, 2012!
All entries become the property of the Kelseyville Olive Festival for future publication and promotion.

Olive Pit Spitting Contest:
Open to the public on the day of the festival. See how far you can spit an olive pit! Prizes will be awarded!
Amateur Recipe Contest:
Open to the public. To be eligible, recipes must contain at least ½ cup of olives or olive oil and serve at least 6 people. Entries must be ready to eat, in a disposable container, and be submitted with a legible copy of the recipe that includes the name of the dish and the name of the entrant.
All entries must be delivered to Rosa d'Oro Vineyards 3915 Main Street Kelseyville, from 12-1pm on Saturday, March 17, 2012. A private judging will begin at 2pm. All recipes become the property of the Kelseyville Olive Festival for future publication and promotion.

People’s Choice Professional Recipe Contest:
Open to professional chefs and caterers. To be eligible, recipes must feature olives or olive oil. Entries must be available for sampling during the event at your booth. Event-goers will vote for their favorite and winners will be announced at 4pm on Sunday, March 18, 2012 during the Kelseyville Olive Festival.
The 2011 winner is Kelseyville's Main Street Bakery for their "Sweet & Sexy" savory cookie!
People’s Choice Olive Oil Contest:
Entries must be available for sampling during the event at your booth. Event-goers will vote for their favorite and winners will be announced at 4pm on Sunday, March 18, 2012 during the Kelseyville Olive Festival.
The 2011 prize went to The Villa Barone.
